Description:

NS2587 bulwark mounted mooring chock sometimes also called NS2587 mooring pipe, follows the strict quality control system. It is designed as per the Norwegian Standard. Under this standard, there are four types of chocks available, such as NS2587 chocks, NS2588 chocks, NS2589 chocks, NS2590chocks and they are often used in European countries. The surface of the NS2587 chock is smooth without burs or sharp edges, which helps reduce the friction of the mooring rope. But this type of chock cannot satisfy the requirements of the Panama Canal Commission (PCC). For this chock, it has two optional nominal dimensions. Type A is a welded mooring chock. It is more often used in European countries than in Asia. YS marines provides the mooring chock with custom design and the product has the certificate of CCS, DNV, GL, KR, LR, NK, etc.
